The Birmingham Dream Center offers a variety of serving opportunities and there are multiple ways to get connected. Here are the SERVE small groups available through the Birmingham Dream Center:
Hosts community residents with compassion, love and mercy within various Dream Center outreaches.
Provides mentorship to kids of the community.
Plans and oversees the event details of each community outreach.
Provides prayer for community residents and intercedes for all outreaches.
Goes door to door in communities to create consistent, life-changing relationships with community residents.
Uses their gifts and skills in the area of food as a means to connect with the community relationally in outreaches, small groups, and other settings in order to demonstrate Christ’s love.
Sets up community outreaches and provides parking assistance and shuttle transportation to outreach participants.
Leads our skilled projects and family projects that occur on First Saturday Serve Days.
Provides office administration support to staff and helps track relevant metrics for all outreach activities.
Serves kids in the community through fun and exciting youth outreaches and provides enrichment support to kids through after-school programming.
Serves students in local schools by assisting and supporting them in areas of enrichment, academics and athletics.
Helps kids achieve physical, nutritional and spiritual fitness through a combination of workouts and spiritual devotions.
